West to East: Travels through Nicaragua

This is a special collaboration of poetry by Tomas Montoya and photography by Roberta Alvarado. This series of images were created in 2016 as Roberta traveled across Nicaragua with a backpack and camera. From the birthplace of the resistance, Masaya, to Little and Big Corn Islands, to the Pacific coast, and on, an authentic experience of lush ecological diversity and everyday life is appreciated in this collection. Tomas' crafted words to capture the heart and soul of the Nicaraguan experiences.
